Hopefully you’ll be sticking clear of the free hookup dating sites that host these fake profiles altogether. But what happens if you do find what you think is a fake profile? How can you spot them against the dozens of profiles from legitimate girls? Here are some of the tell-tale signs that a profile belongs to a scammer or escort.
Too Good To Be True
Jerry Hall once said every man wants “a maid in the living room, a cook in the kitchen and a whore in the bedroom.” Let’s face it, that is basically true. And that is why some women will true to entice you with highly explicit, NSFW profile pictures (others might show pictures of their very tidy house, or the cupcakes they have baked, but those profile pictures won’t work as well on a hookup site). These are definitely women to be wary of as behind the blowjob pictures or spread legs probably lies a scammer.
Think, would any decent girl really post pictures like that? Highly doubtful. Maybe if you are lucky you might get some risqué images further down the line, but really you are in this for the real thing, not just pictures. If the images see posts look like a porn star then they probably are, scraped off some site just to lure you in. The same goes for the text. If the girls is talking about loving give blow jobs or that see has girlfriends that want to get involved too, the alarm bells should be ringing. These are the kind of girls (or guys, how do you know who is lurking behind fake profiles) that are just after your money. Either they want your personal information to sell on, or they connive a story to try and get you to part with some cash. Either that, or they are hookers posing as real Canadian girls and you will be led very far down the garden path before you realize you are expected to pay for it.
Here google is your friend. Did you know you can reverse Google image search. Either Give google the URL of the picture on the site and it will go through the web finding instances of the same image. This way you can tell if the profile picture is genuine or has come off a porn site in the dark recesses of the web.
I Love Canada
If a girl says this, run a mile. Not that loving Canada or wanting to date a Canadian is a sign of mental instability but it means a) she isn’t local and remember, you should be keeping it local, and b) she wants money.
After a while she’ll start talking about how great you are and that she is really looking forward to coming to visit you in Montreal or Vancouver or wherever. She says she is looking online at flights and going to book one next week. Then suddenly, an emergency will happen. Oh no, she was in an accident and has to pay insurance, or her mom is ill and has to pay medical expenses, or, shoot, her purse was stolen yesterday with her credit card in it and now she can’t come, do you think you could wire her some money to pay for the flight? She loves Canada and can’t wait any longer to see you.
The minute that money has left your bank account, her love for Canada will suddenly disappear, as will she. Never to been seen nor heard of again (at least under the profile – she/he probably has dozens of profiles just like that set up on free sites trying to lure suckers in).
There is nothing wrong with loving Canada. We sure do. But be on guard against any women online who wants you to send her money for anything. You will never see that money or that girl again.
With the right lighting, the right camera and most importantly Photoshop, it is almost impossible for anyone to look bad in a photograph anymore. Of course, everyone is going to put their best photos online in order to entice lovers, but be careful when the photos show no imperfections at all, these are likely to be scam profiles.
If it is a facial picture, then the complexion is a tell-tale sign. If it is too smooth then it’s probably photoshopped. If it is a body picture then maybe the boobs or butt are enhanced, or she has artificially slimmed her waist.
Or maybe like the porn star pictures, it’s stolen from online. It might be a picture taken from a modelling site and not really the girl you are talking to. See if you can get more pictures of the girl, maybe with friends or in different surroundings as these are more liely to a) be non-shopped as it is much harder to do when there are other things in the image and b) more likely to be genuinely of her as she wouldn’t be able to steal them all from sites online.
Most people are a bit coy when meeting new people. They want to test the water first before diving in. So if she does dive in straight away, telling you all the dirty things she wants to do and all the things she is up for, then beware. This might sound like a dream come true, but that is exactly what these scammers want. They want you to start thinking with your dick rather than with your brain.
The decent girls you are going to meet are not going to be too forward initially. Hopefully they will become so but to start they just want to make sure you are who you say you are and not a moron or a psycho. So if someone comes on strong from the offset then they are probably trying to entice you in to get your money somehow. It is a favorite ploy of escort profiles, telling you all the great things they do, only for you to later find out that those great things are all extras you have to pay for.
