LavaLife.ca – Definitely Not Canada’s #1

LavaLife advertised itself as ‘Canada’s #1 online dating community’. If so, we despair for Canada and its online hookup potential. It could be that this site is good for long-term dating, but that is not why we came here and for hookups it was terrible.

LavaLife is a Poor Choice

The first thing to notice was the poor choice available. There seemed to be a lot of women on the site, but hardly any of them had uploaded a photo so you could see what you were getting into. One of our rules we had when we started was not to ‘fight blind’ – if we were going to contact a girl she had to have at least one profile picture so we knew what she looked like and whether she was worth it. Remember, our study was about the quality of girl you could hook up with on these sites as well as the quantity of lays you could attain. If the girl didn’t post a picture then we just passed her by. If you are not confident about your looks, whatever you may look like you are always going to struggle hooking up.

So this narrowed the field right out of the gate. We then came to the next problem…

Granny Dating

The rest of the women on there were on the old side. It seemed more for the kind of people who are looking for more after a divorce than fit young hotties looking for more sex in their lives, which is what we were after. Don’t get us wrong, there is nothing wrong with a good mauling from a cougar, but that is not really what hooking up is all about. We were looking for something a bit more energetic.

Fakes

Once or twice we did come across hot young things looking for good action. But almost as soon as we did the alarm bell went. Hot girls wanting to do dirty things? Check. Suspicious photo? Check. Not actually local? Check. Again what looked like a good chance was actually someone looking to make a fool out of us. Luckily we are smart to those kind of things having been bitten too many times before. We hope you are now too having read all of the information in this guide. We have done all this so you don’t have to remember.

LavaLife.ca – Summary…

This was a poor quality site with girls that could have been potential lays but didn’t put a pictures up online so we could assess their quality. Either that, or the girls that did put photos up were certainly girls no longer, definitely in the lady category. This was not our remit so avoided women who were past it and no longer hot. The few good photos on there seemed to belong mostly to scammers, having got the photos from other websites and using them and tales of sexual adventure to lure unsuspecting men to their doom…
